What is forgotten is a reflection, a modus operandi, a way of reusing and re-evaluating the interest and aesthetics of something
'ruined' using waste elements and materials to create new products
STORY:
What is forgotten is a fashion project created by Fernanda Pellegrino in 2020.
The idea of the project starts with the motto "use waste to create" and develops into "ciò che viene dimenticato", which is the concept behind the collections.
It is about the production method and the research of different sources of material, without forgetting the emotional aspect, like an expired film that can no longer be used for its primary purpose but gives life to photographs with unexpected colours.
What is forgotten is a way to re-evaluate something ruined.
We transform forgotten materials into zero-waste, one-of-a-kind and made to order items. ♻️
MATERIAL AND PRODUCTION:
We focus on zero-waste, upcycling/reconstruction, balancing design and DIY techniques, pattern making and moulage. By using forgotten materials and waste.
