I have just had my 3rd knee operation to remove the 2nd set of titanium brackets and screws from my knee and have to walk with a crutch.
Recovering from two broken legs is a long, slow, painful process that has taken over 2 years and many operations. So, "If you're going through hell, keep going," as Churchill said.
However! I hold a 4-year BA (Hons) degree in Fashion Studies from The London College of Fashion.
I examined every aspect of fashion, from Fashion in film, subcultures, textiles, and trend analysis.
My final thesis was on upcycling/reworked fashion and the global impact this would have on keeping good materials out of landfills. Therefore, I reuse packaging when sending my items.
I'm also dyslexic, so my spelling sucks, but my eye for fashion, photographic visual memory, and attention to detail are my strengths. If you're dyslexic like me, I believe that when something is taken away, you get an extra talent in creativity.
I developed an acute sense of smell after giving up smoking over 20 years ago. So I would only sell an item that smells clean and fresh and expect the same in return.
Hence, I include a small bag of natural, organic lavender from the Mayfield Lavender Farm to scent and protect your wardrobe, complimentary.
Most of my vintage items come from my loft after being a clothing collector for more than 30 years, and from being a size 8 to present-day size 14.
As a former fashion student, I've developed an appreciation for a diverse range of original labels and styles that have transcended in circles. I can now share this passion for preloved items through Vinted, a collective that brings us together in our love for secondhand clothing
Some of my favorite designers include Thierry Mugler,
Isabel Marant,
Alexander McQueen,
Vivienne Westwood,
and Rick Owens.
New designers such as Dilara Findikoglu, hailed as the new McQueen, are also favorites.
I am a hippie, Boho chick at heart. I still believe in Peace, love, and taking care of the planet, so I reuse packaging.
All my items are double-checked for quality control before sending
I steam clean every garment and gift wrap them as a present to you.
